Manage & secure your AI workloads.

I advise organisations on using AI safely, and I implement it. Where your data goes, who can see it, what it costs, and how you stay in control of it. Sometimes that means a setup of your own, sometimes it means getting the tools you already have under control.

What I do

Advice

What AI can do for your organisation, what it should not do, and what it costs. Which data may go into which tool, under which contract, with which sub-processors. I read the agreement next to the actual setup and tell you where the two do not match.

Guidance

Helping teams get started and keep going. Working agreements, a short list of do's and don'ts, who approves what, and a few sessions with the people who will actually use it. Also the business analysis that comes before it: how the work gets done today and where AI fits, if at all.

Implementation

Getting the tools you already have set up properly, or building a setup of your own when that makes more sense. Access control, budgets per team, logging without prompts in it, European hosting where you want it. I build it, document it and hand it over, or keep running it for you.

Where I stand

Open source where it counts. If a component holds your data or your keys, you should be able to read the code, run it yourself and leave without asking anyone. Digital sovereignty is a practical question to me: who can switch you off, read your prompts or raise your price, and would you notice in time. I set things up so that the answer is: you, and yes.

Background

Twenty years in hosting and software. Co-founder of DIVI Hosting & Development, turnaround of Home Page Unlimited (software for hospitals, government and larger SMEs), earlier at Yoast and Skyberate. Sold both companies in 2025. I now work through Hulshof Concepts B.V., based in Arnhem.

Bachelor's in political science, master's in European Studies. That helps when the question is which jurisdiction your data sits in and who gets to decide about it. Most AI problems in organisations are governance problems first.

I write code, read contracts and have long talks with vendors. Usually in that order.
